This shit is so retarded. I honestly try to give AEW a chance because I like wrestling and want to enjoy different takes on it but All In didn't change my mind from thinking AEW is a secondrate product. I guess i just can't enjoy a show booked by a clinical autist.

What wrestling shows/feds do you enjoy or can you enjoy, then?

I want something like LU again. Why can't Tony be based like Dario. He's like a bizarro Dario where he kinda is creepy like him but not interesting or creative in any way.

>fellow LUchad
Didn't expect that but I fully agree. With Dario at least the booking made more sense.
I still think Tony should become an on-screen GM like Dario but make him completely coked out and when he doesn't like a result he comes out with a mic in hand angry as fuck with white powder still on his mustache and then he screams THIS MATCH NOW RESTARTS IN A NO DQ PERRO RING THE BEEEEEELLLLL

Sadly LU doesn't seem to be that popular in the US, people prefer to have a live show instead of a wrestling-themed tv show. I for one like both

God that would make AEW so good. Have Tony slowly descent into madness and randomly do shit like the wheel of misfortune. He can still do his random dream matches but this way it would give it intrigue and make people actually want to check out the weekly shows. I get the idea of wanting to make in-ring the focus but there is ways of making it much more interesting than they are

> Have Tony slowly descent into madness and randomly do shit like the wheel of misfortune.
They kind of teased that during MJF's reign when he was fucking around with Cole. I can't find it but I recall both of them standing in front of his door and hearing him scream through the phone only to open the door and he's all smiles and "hey guys!" and shit.
He could just as well do it for "the sickos" as well as Dario was doing it for the temple fanatics when booking shit on the go.
AEW unironically needs a proper onscreen GM. Not Christopher Daniels who's not even there most of the time.

Even if you look at yesterday's main event, which was good imo - imagine people interfere on both sides and Mox gets a "fluke", then a completely coked out angry Tony comes out, screams at them, tells everyone to get the fuck out of the ringside and the match restarts, whoever interferes gets FIRED

not restarted but if you are gonna bring it up at the press conference as the owner of the company, wouldn't you condemn the heels for ruining the match with shenanigans and not winning the belt in a legitimate way and maybe set up a rematch where interference isn't allowed? Tony is fine with heels cheating to win and making his company look like a joke in kayfabe?

yes, as is every other company in the world, as it is at the referee's discretion, if the ref doesnt see it, it doesnt matter, this is literally how wrestling works, Tony mentioned this in the scrum and im failing to see the problem

I loved Lucha Underground too, but you guys are massively overrating Tony's acting and promo abilities. He can't do what you're suggesting. Yeah, it does sound great, but he could never pull it off and it would only come across as awkward and cringe as fuck, just like everytime Tony is on the mic or even just in front of a camera. He's got negative charisma.

The referee's decision is final but it still illegitimized the winner of their new undisputed title. He isn't the undisputed winner because he cheated to win. It was dumb of him to just handwave it away like this in kayfabe.

He doesn't need to be perfect at it. And well, you get better once you work on something, usually.
And as I said, it could've just as well be a different ACTUAL ON SCREEM GM (NOT DANIELS) who could be presented as Tony Khan's right hand

how is saying "I would fire you if you did that under a different ruleset" turning heel and handwaving the decision when it was the referee's decison to make? Every time theres an interference the boss should march down to the ring like Vince when he blew his quads and make sure the ref knows whats going on? tell it to aubrey for being a dumb bitch, this is wrestling 101 and youre a worked idiot lol

I'm a day one AEW Chad, and even I think it's retarded that Don could pull a referee out of the ring and stomp him unconscious, and then have Aubrey run out and just start calling the match like she didn't see that shit backlstage. Do they keep spare refs blindfolded in a kennel until some red like goes off to release on of them like cattle, and they run down to the ring? What is the deal?

I mean, he fucked up but if this is the reason you hate AEW then you probably don't want to like it anyway.
I don't understand this need people have to hold a fake sport to logical standards. It's hilarious how people are willing to suspend disbelief when it comes to companies they watch and completely lean into heavy nitpicking when it comes to companies they've decided they hate.
Yes. It's bullshit. Tony shouldn't do this. But pro-wrestling has always been full of this type of bullshit and, at the end of the day, if perfect logical consistency was what I was tuning in for I probably wouldn't watch pro-wrestling at all there's always going to be stupid shit, there's always going to be botches, some moves are always going to look fake, and there's always going to be something to criticize if you look hard enough.
