It was good but it was their least good match together by a big margin. I suppose in a way it's better that they didn't go for a 40-50 minute "epic" because all it would have done was wear the crowd out before the main event.

It was whatever, really. Kenny can work a slower style but it just feels like Okada didn't give a single fuck and was sloppy and slow instead of calculated and didn't really work anyone. Definition of showing up and doing the job and then going home really.
It didn't help that we also just got more Don Callis interference. Because I guess we REALLY need more Don Callis bullshit

Probably the best match you could get out of the two of them atp. I didn't like the ref being pulled out of the ring, but it protected the OWA and sets up a rematch with no interference at All Out or FD. I'm kinda tired of the stomach always being the center of attention. We saw that Kenny can still go vs Gabe Kidd.

Okada is never the driving force of a match, he's just able to match the intensity of anyone and bring out the best in them. He's not a Shawn Michaels type of wrestler that can make any match good by themselves, that was always more of Kenny's style, Okada is more like Ric Flair in the sense that he has a template that he sticks to and will phone in a perfectly serviceable match but only really shines when put together with an opponent he has some special chemistry with.

AEW need to stop doing open arena shows it kills the momentum because the crowd is inaudible and this match was just there. They were suppose to deliver a 6+ star match but barely tried. ALL IN was there to get the title on Hangman the rest was to pad time

It was fine. Not sure why people expected something on the level of their previous matches. WK11 was 9 years ago. Both of their bodies are fucked these days. Kenny has another year left in him if he's lucky.
