You can test it out beforehand but it doesn't mean much day of. Sometimes the internet just sucks, or there's too much traffic on the network because 2500 people are there that weren't there before. Clearly they sent somebody to try and check but it didn't matter much.

I'm surprised the big money companies rarely have issues like this. Live show production is hard.

They can't oversaturate the Texas territory, and a lot of the locations are in redneck country like Alabama, Mississippi and Kentucky. So the only real options, unless they open somewhere near one of the larger cities in California, Ohio or the northeast in general, is Springfield MO, Daytona Beach or St. Augustine in Florida. Though there is one in Auburn, AL, which is a college town, so that could be an interesting location.

They likely would never come over on their own. It'd be suicidal. Even bigger feds don't do it, they always try to piggyback off a bigger show to make sure there's decent spillover.

When they did LA it was with Prestige, and Seattle was with Defy, which already draws well in the area as a local indie fed people trust.

Miu Watanabe vs Shoko Nakajima is a MOTY candidate, Pom & Raku vs. Shino & Hyper Misao put on most entertaining performance ever & main match Maki Itoh with nearly everyone cheering for her (2,600 people) vs MIZUKI was incredible, but this sequence btw @YukaSakazaki & @miyu_tjp had me standing...it was an epic Texax banger

>To all the female fans who have come to watch Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling!
>1. What made you decide to go see Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling?
>2. What do you find appealing about Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling?
>Please let me know in the replies!
>1. I was recommended Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, and after watching Next Generation on YouTube, I became interested in Haru-chan — that’s what got me into it, and it’s the reason I still watch today.
>2. At first, I only watched Haru-chan, but as I got to know more wrestlers, I realized how many amazing talents there are! The warmth of the fans and being able to directly show support at the meet-and-greets is something I really look forward to!
>1. A photo of Sakisama that was too beautiful went viral, and that made me curious about TJPW… I checked it out nervously...
>2. A world where effort truly pays off! They bare their souls and emotions — it’s incredibly relatable. No feuds! It's real sisterhood. Seeing them praise each other after matches (especially singles) always brings tears. You laugh, get fired up, and leave feeling refreshed. C-U-T-E!
>1. A lot of people around me were fans of TJPW, so I was curious. Then I saw Itoh-chan in a street wrestling event near Tokyo Skytree and became really interested — I wanted to see her live!
>2. Watching the girls shine and succeed gives me so much energy. I also love the fun girly chats at the meet-and-greets, and sometimes TK getting teased is just hilarious
>1. A male friend with a totally different hobby insisted, “Just watch it once!!!” — and that’s what got me to go. That one time was all it took — I fell completely in love
>2. The contrast between their serious expressions in the ring and how friendly and close they are outside of it is so great. Their unique finishing moves and cute costumes…

>1. There was a show near my hometown, and a friend invited me!
>2. Pure joy. All the wrestlers truly love Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and are proud to be part of it. The absence of fixed units means endless possibilities for matchups and stronger individual connections. Seeing them give their all is empowering
>1. I was a fan of Yuki Arai from SKE, and when she suddenly announced she’d be doing pro wrestling, I thought, “Well of course I have to go support her in person!”
>2. The costumes are cute, like something out of Precure! And watching it never makes you feel bad.
>1. I was originally a fan of Saki Akai from DDT, and when I heard that she became tag team champions with a TJPW wrestler (Yuki Arai), who balances both pro wrestling and SKE48, I got curious and wanted to see what kind of tag team they were (Event: October 9, 2022 – TDC Hall)
>2. Since there are no unit feuds like in other promotions, you can enjoy the matches all the way through with a good feeling.
>1. I've followed combat sports for many years and had an ideal image of what a perfect wrestler should be — and Rika Tatsumi not only met but exceeded all of that with her diverse talents. For years, I only watched online, but I finally got to see her wrestle live in Sapporo the other month. Thank you so much!
>2. TJPW wrestlers pull off amazing feats so effortlessly — it’s beautiful, elegant, and exactly my taste.
>1. I had been thinking it was time to finally watch wrestling live, and then I saw the women-only show held this past March — that pushed me to go!
>2. Everyone sparkles, they’re so cute, and you get to enjoy both intense and fun matches! Even when they win or lose, they never get arrogant or discouraged — they’re refreshingly grounded. It has the fun, chaotic vibe of an all-girls' school!

>1. My elementary school-aged daughter got into pro wrestling, found Tokyo Joshi on YouTube, and said she wanted to go see it — that’s how it all started.
>2. Speaking as a mom who got hooked on wrestling too, the most appealing part is how everyone is desperately fighting to win. I’m also really looking forward to Haru-chan’s growth
>1. I’m a fan of SKE, so I first went to see Arai-chan — that’s what got me into it.
>2. Every single wrestler has their own charm and story. I have my favorite, but honestly, I love all of them.
>1. I had wrestling fan friends around me who often went to shows and told me how much fun it was
>2. There were plenty of chances to interact with the wrestlers through merch booths and autograph sessions. It’s truly the embodiment of “ten people, ten colors”!! The ring is nothing short of a rainbow!! Each player has their own unique charm — “This is what makes her shine!”, and “This is what makes her special!” — and that’s what makes it so great!!
>1. I was invited by my father to go to Gaisen Sakura Pro Wrestling
>2. An overwhelming feeling of joy, a one-of-a-kind world view and cuteness—but not just that—there’s thrill, suspense, and excitement too!
>1. It started with a match offered at a big DDT event, then I saw the Tokyo Joshi Pro package and got completely hooked. I'm kind of proud that I got to attend my first show at Korakuen Hall.
>2. All the roster members are ‘more than friends, comrades and rivals’ to each other. That incredible sense of happiness after a big event. In a good way, it's like 2.5D pro wrestling, with unfolding storylines.

>1. I thought, “I've never seen pro wrestling before,” so I searched it up. By chance, there was an event nearby, and the ladies’ seat was only 2,000 yen, so I casually went to watch and got hooked.
>2. Each wrestler has a completely different story, and they all feel like main characters. Their fighting styles are different, but they respect their opponents.
>1. I kept seeing Tokyo Joshi Pro matches and stories on the timeline of wrestling fans I follow, and just when I was on a trip and arrived a day early, there happened to be a show, so I went!
>2. The charming and unique wrestlers fight with flair—and with grit! They’re cool, cute, and absolutely the best
>1. I mainly used to watch other promotions, but an online friend told me, “If you ever get the chance, you should check them out,” so I went to my first Tokyo Joshi Pro show when they came to my hometown, Nagoya.
>2. There’s a strong sense of unity—both the wrestlers and fans working together to hype up the promotion.
>1. Was it before I started dating my now-husband? Or after? (That part’s fuzzy) But he invited me to a Tokyo Joshi show.
>2. Unlike other promotions, there’s no drama or tension between wrestlers. You can genuinely enjoy watching the younger wrestlers grow. Also, all the players come out for merch sales (this honestly shocked me).
>1. I saw match videos and costumes on X (Twitter) and thought, “That’s cute,” so I got interested. Then I found out about an event where you could get a portrait photo just by showing a DDT night show ticket, and figured I’d give it a try.
>2. Even while they’re fighting, there’s no hostility. Each wrestler has a different kind of personality and charm, and even though they’re all so unique, they still create this perfect harmony—I love that

>1. I just happened to be browsing a ticketing site and saw Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling pop up. When I saw the ladies’ seat was only 2,000 yen, I thought, “Why not give it a try?”
>2. The contrast between the cute costumes and wrestlers getting slammed hard in the ring—it’s that gap that gets you.
>1. A fellow wrestling fan told me, “Maki Itoh is amazing, just watch her!”—and that’s what got me to attend my first show.
>2. There are no unit feuds, and the bonds between tag teams are really strong—that’s the appeal. The "buddy" vibe is just like Precure! You can feel that every wrestler truly loves Tokyo Joshi, and even within intense battles, there’s a sense of love and peace—that’s also beautiful.
>1. I was moved after watching the 2022 Ryogoku Kokugikan show on YouTube, and ended up attending my first live event that July at Ota City General Gymnasium—and I’ve been totally hooked ever since
>2. There are no brawls at contract signings or press conferences. Even at big shows, all the wrestlers come out at the end, and gather around the main event winner—it really feels like everyone is one. TJPW is the best!
>1. I was a fan of Yuki Arai, which is what got me to attend a show! I hadn’t really watched wrestling seriously until then.
>2. Even though everyone’s style is different, the matches are built on mutual respect! You can clearly feel that they all just want to have a good match, and that makes you want to cheer for everyone! Also, the costumes are so unique and cute

A couple things from my meet and greet:
Pom's day at six flags got ruined by rain, so she didn't get to do a lot of the stuff she wanted. She wants to come back during their halloween fest.

Namba saw the new Jurassic Park movie in Vancouver but had a hard time following the dialogue because of course there's no japanese subtitles. I mentioned how I liked The Shining references in her photobook, and she said she liked scary movies. So I suggested 28 Years Later, since I had seen that recently.

Maki's line was massive. I know she's popular in the US, but this was the first time I really understood the scale. Yeah, I would say Maki was probably the main draw for the show.

Also, Shoko had merch! Three cute sticker designs
