I think when Lyra originally debuted on the main roster, she had trouble connecting with the audience. I think at this point her matches have been so consistently great, and the crowds are loud and excited to see her, the only people still hating on Lyra are people who are mad that she beat their waifu at some point.

Lyra is a true workout warrior and has a great chin but there's little else going for her. Shes not American, and her promos are nothing special. Shes short but with a wide waist. Shes not naturally explosive like the college athletes that NXT mostly recruits now. Its hard to see her ever being more than card filler.
