Asuka always betrays everyone, but Kairi and she's only really friends with Kairi because Kairi is the Jannetty and therefore will never have anything Asuka wants. what's unfortunate (or fortunate) is Kairi is too old and meh in the ring so she's never going to be champ so unless they make the feud be about the US or IC title for some reason, there isn't any reason for conflict between Kairi and Asuka because Kairi is never going to be in Asuka's way.
