"Fail" is a bad choice of words. Iyo's reign wasn't a failure. Failure would be bad matches, promos and build up. Her reign, just like every reign ever since WM40 for some reason, was completely underutilized. I genuinely do not know why, but for some reason title matches are now uber sacred in kayfabe, when probably 10 years ago you'd have a title match every week, and even at house shows. Hell, probably even before 40. I seriously do not understand what their reasoning is behind this. Limiting the workload to avoid injuries? It only hurts the business because it makes the champ look unimportant or you get shit like fucking Rhea being inserted into EVERY TITLE SHOT because you're unoriginal faggots. Even Cody's reign wasn't that much better. Damian's sucked, Jey's sucked, Gunther's sucked, Breakker's sucked. There's just no actual good reigns these days because they won't book the fucking champ or do retarded booking decisions.

Honestly, I think the only thing holding Iyo and any joshi back is their lack of english. In recent shows, it's obvious that her english is clearly getting better, but the fact Naomi can just openly say "I dunno what you said lol" and STILL get a laugh out the audience shows it's still not good enough.
