I don't even think it's this anymore. I think HHH is letting the writer's room run wild and is so overwhelmed with all of the other shit that Vince was so good at keeping up with for years that the cracks were bound to show in a weak product. HHH rubber stamps most things, has some opinions on the big issues, deals with the talent and staff as needed, and otherwise is just trying to stay afloat.

In Steph's interview with Taker he's on the ground overseeing the ring setup with underlings and we know he's in gorilla but otherwise I don't believe he's that in charge other than showing up the rubberstamp or thumbs up/down a pitch.

UNREAL will be very telling of how much he really is everywhere and will likely damn him harder than anyone short of the joke of a booking room of writers.

Triple H is ultimately beholden to the TKO suits. I think he gets a lot of leeway in most cases, but whenever they step in he has to listen.
