Love him or hate him and his retarded taste and match reviews, Meltzer is probably the foremost living wrestling historian alive and everyone recognizes this about him even his haters like Cornette (who is also one of the top 3 most knowledgeable wrestling historians alive, along with Jim Levine)

Most people just focus on his snowflake ratings but that's an expression of his subjective taste which, again, is shit.
