AEW for all of it's booking faults, like refusing to pivot on Jade's long title run because it HAD to be Kris who beat her, did otherwise book around Jade's weaknesses well. Simple squash matches most of the time, then paired with one of the more experienced women who could carry her and help her improve. Her last match in AEW was her best one there because Kris carried but also because Jade had worked through trial by fire by this point. Importantly though, this way of booking still had her feeling like a big deal.

WWE's method for covering for someone being green is to just put them in a tag team and stand on the apron. Everything about Jade being special faded because she became just another face in the crowd of a forgotten division rather than a special attraction. And ultimately she's still remained at the same spot where she can only work longer matches with women good enough to carry good matches out of most wrestlers.

The "special attraction woman becomes just another bimbo" route has also happened with Jordynne Grace in NXT.
