That's the elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about. The entire wrestling business is completely fucked once the old guard calls it quits. What noteworthy young talent does WWE have? Logan, Dom, and Bron? They aren't enough to carry the company. And AEW has absolutely fucking nothing aside from a criminally fumbled Darby Allin. Pro wrestling is going to implode in a few years.

Well the question is how do they make the next generation not suck? When all the old guys from the 80s started retiring the shit hit a new boom with a new generation of stars in the 90s (Austin, Rock, Kane, Taker, DX, NWO, etc etc) and even from the 90s to the 00s they still had a good generation to replace the previous. So what are they doing wrong now that the new generation sucks?

Wrestlers life spans unironically increased since then. Back in 2014, most wrestlers would retire in their 40s. Now they’re retiring in their 50s. Almost like WWE is paying them more to keep going out of fear that fans will lose interest in their product without the nostalgia crutch
