For me it's 5 match cards. That shit was fine when it was basically free, but for 30 a month I need something more substantial.

I don't watch WWE, nor will I subscribe to this, but to be fair you're paying $30 a month for a streaming platform package, not a show.
Plenty of other shit to watch alongside WWE, it's more akin to being a channel on a traditional cable network than paying for a PPV so, yes, they need to bring in money for themselves.
It's still slop that I won't be watching but I can understand it.

Yes forcing the fans to pay more for product that’s dipping in quality and having more companies pay for more advertising would very much increase profits.
