AEW is Linux
>obscure to most normies
>created by autists for autists
>product itself is largely okay, even decent at times
>obnoxious fanboy community makes you want nothing to do with it
AEW is the Linux of the pro-wrestling world

Logic checks out, still the best modern wrestling promotion

I'll say what i heard once at /v/
AEW and WCW fanboys is the blizzdrones of wrestling communities, even in said behavior.

Linux at least has minor utility. AEW doesn’t
Anonymous No.18474127
More like ChromeOS. Has major money and advertising behind it but has no use and there are much better options available

True, but what utility does it have that couldn't be filled by Windows and FreeBSD (WWE and New Japan)
It fills a void that only autists ever cared about

>AEW is the objective best product to anyone who knows shit about the genre and isn't a braindead 'spoonfeed me' idiot
I agree OP

AEW reminds me more of 90s Apple. Linux is stable and dependable with some modern flashiness, maybe like a CMLL

Linux is all about customizability, freedom, and utility. It has multiple different flavors and makes up less than 10% of the PC market.

MacOS is a closed garden design to suck as much money from the consumer as possible. It is pure form over function and is meant to be used by normies and those who want to think they're "pro users".

Windows is a fucking mess built on 30 year old architecture desperately trying to not hemorrhage all of its users. Microsoft has to support legacy protocols still used by top companies and governments, while trying to cram in new "features" that can harvest user data. Completely reliant on b2b revenue to stay afloat.

WWE is Windows. The indies is Linux. And AEW is Android. Backed by a huge company. While despite being a good product, the most smelly and insufferable fanboys drive people away from it.

The fanboys are the biggest problem with both, imo.
I love Linux. I hate Linux fanboys. They remind me of the socialists who see anyone even slightly to the right of them as goosestepping fascists.

Wrestling itself is Linux.
Then AEW and TNA and the WWE and others come in and make their own distribution of it.
The WWE took its UNIX background and made MacOS before going PG and turning into iOS.

AEW is the Arch of wrestling distros.
Everywhere they go, they mention "hey i watch AEW btw"
They're on rolling updates with shows appearing out of nowhere and being cancelled all the time as they get too buggy.
Every time Tony touches the terminal, the install breaks again and crashes out.
Additionally, when someone else says he uses wrestling, the AEW fan asks why you're not using the best wrestling which is Arch and damns you if you use anything else.
"Arch is the real Linux."
"AEW is the real wrestling."

it's more like ubuntu, a shitty alternative to windows that fucking sucks but at least its free

I like the Arch/AEW comparison, but WWE is definitely Windows, name recognition, ads, and all

Said the AEW-tier Linux fanboy
>AEW fanboys often called out as trannies on /pw/
>Linux fanboys often called out as trannies on /g/
Coincidence?

I am begging you to watch wrestling from before 2010. The entire industry has fallen off.

I've been watching since the 80s, I was throwing the company a bone.
