It's being morphed into the lower tier of the new ESPN service, and it seems like the only difference will be that it doesn't have the ESPN TV channels. Seems like you'll be able to watch the WWE shows with the less expensive subscription.

The PPVs are on ESPN. The $12 is ESPN+ only which does not simulcast what is on ESPN. It literally says "does not include linear channels"

The new ESPN streaming service is called ESPN. WWE PLEs are going to ESPN, the streaming service. They've announced that some, not all, of the PLEs will also be simulcast on the ESPN linear networks as well, but the PLEs will be part of the streaming service, so it seems to be you'd be able to get them with the cheaper subscription option, the equivalent of what is now ESPN+.

No, they're all going to be broadcast on ESPN the actual channel. The ESPN app already exists, and has since smartphones existed, its just finally offering a subscription service to watch the networks themselves on it. This is not a new service, or a separate service. If a game runs long they'll kick the start of them to streaming only on ESPN3 like they currently do now for other games if something runs long. Every PPV is going to be braodcast on the actual ESPN network and if you have cable you can just watch them there for "free"

You are misinformed, like most internet wrestling fans seem to be.
