>>18488003I think the main problem with AEW is that it is terrible at marketing itself, and the fans do not make it any easier, Tony is straight up a terrible promoter, he doesn't promote his shows, he barely run ads for them, and then the shows actually happen, and they are instantly forgotten as if they never happened, or they are brought up in conversation as a "reference" and nothing else. One example that comes to mind is actually from this last Dynamite, during Moxley's entrance which no one really gives a shit about, Excalibur talks about Darby attacking Moxley on Collision, and that's about it, nothing else comes from it. Tony just ASSUMES you watch all of his retarded content, so to him, that's all the reference you need to understand. Do you have any idea how many times WWE would have played the clip of this attack if it was on its programming? If Tony really "learned" from the mistakes of WCW, he would have heeded the words of Sullivan when he told Nash that "business hit an iceberg called Wrestlemania" after WM17 or 18 (I don't remember), WWE always assumes you're new or you missed some content, that is why it sounds so repetitive, that is why they have those long ass video promos summarizing rivalries. Tony has just started doing those recently during his PPVs, but the quality is abysmal. Honestly I'm gonna stop here, because I kinda lost my train of thought.
