Are these fans who were watching on cable but basically were only subscribed to cable for AEW but cancelled their cable subs the moment they hit Max?

Dave has never explained why the cable viewership for AEW is basically the same as it was before the simulcast started?

Dave never explained how the combined total of AEW on cable and Max being about 900k-1.1m makes sense when that would mean that AEW is now doing the highest rating the company has ever had despite drawing an average attendance of 2.5k

Also, if AEW is doing 500k, you could probably make the argument that all the other Max shows are doing about the same, which would mean that CNN on Max is doing better than it is on cable but CNN only does about 200k on cable. If CNN isn't doing 500k on Max that would mean AEW is doing way better than it, but if that's the case, why is WBD never singled out how well AEW is doing on Max vs all their other programs

Also, why do we never hear about collision on Max? Is it also doing 500k?

Also, what Dave doesn't realize is that he's setting up AEW.
Zaslav has openly stated that the live stream component doesn't really draw a lot of viewers. Really, the only reason they have it is for the NBA and NHL, but when the WBD split happens, WB will lose the NBA and NHL to Discovery, so they will have no real reason to have a live stream on Max so they're probably going to axe it. Dave will then have to explain why AEW didn't lose 500k viewers, when if he had just used the far more logical number of 75k-150k, it wouldn't be that bad.
