Yano was WWE's greatest missed opportunity.

This is a great list of fantastic workers, but saying "of all time" makes it too contentious. You're gonna leave out a lot of guys like Stone Cold, Flair, Mr. Perfect, etc.

Shawn, Austin, Eddie, Edge, Foley, Undertaker, Triple H, Cena, Brock. All belong on there. I could get going super smarky if you wanted to jerk off over workrate. But as far psychology goes and guys understanding how to tell a story in a match and make each part of it count and get the crowd to rise and fall with them then you're remiss to leave out a lot of the names you are

i think hhh is actually quite bad at ring psych. he has a really bad time reading the crowd and will do things in his matches that simply get the wrong reaction out of the crowd. i also think edge is quite bad at it, his entire single run was a total snoozefest outside of his spotfests. i will give you edge is one of the best at structuring a spotmonkey match, but ring psychology i disagree with. shawn and austin should definitely be on the list. cena and orton are maybes

Good list though I'd question Ilja since he just has high-octane matches, I'm not sure he can make a match of slower space and lesser spots feel big

Austin and Foley are absolute musts

Kenny Omega is #1. Edrones really don't know anything outside their own stall.

That's exactly what ring psychology is though. Ladder matches are some of my favorites because of just that. The inherent psychology of those is so simple, where as long as someone's trying to climb up the ladder and win then you're golden. If you look back at those original TLCs and the ladder matches those guys did that laid the foundation there really aren't any big moments where no one's trying to win. You'll get the spot or two where guys focus on taking one of the others out, but what you won't see is the retarded shit that you see in so many others since where you'll have guys doing anything but trying to actually climb a ladder and win. Maybe we'll agree to disagree on the rest of his work, but ladder and TLC matches alone support all I need on why his name should be there. Check out his Mania match with Foley again (or for the first time if you haven't seen it) as well if you want an easy example of his solo stuff

NTA but HHH/Foley and HHH/Batista though admittedly you can probably posit just as many examples of him being bad at psychology as good at it because his ego overrides a lot of his positive aspects
When he's slotted right he CAN be excellent at it though

benoit and angle are spot monkeys. the wrestle exactly the same no matter the story or the opponent. the original ospreay

Comparing either to Ospreay is insulting because although Angle was a spotmonkey he was one that had it drilled in him to at least do his best and make the actual sequences look authentic and as a struggle, he ducks last second and doesn't feed to obviously
Benoit is a step above either but Angle is at least three above Will as he works now

benoit is very good at movez that look realistic, but he's too much of a shoot insane retard to adapt his style to his opponent. he wrestled the same vs hhh as he did vs big show
