It's relevant to the jurisdiction of the case which is why when AEW tried to move the case to federal jurisdiction the judge asked to see who owned the company in order to grant the motion. The AEW team are the ones requesting the case be moved out of Illinois and to prove that it belongs outside of Illinois AEW's team needs to prove ownership across multiple states
