Why do we hate Triple H as a wrestler and put him 1 step below the GOATs? Just look at his matches in his prime (99'-00') and they are all bangers. He had charisma, skill AND was an incredible worker. He put Foley into retirement in one of the best matches of all time.

False. Look at his match against Benoit at No Mercy 2000. He brought out a bunch of new moves AND outclassed benoit in technical wrestling.

Yes, his later years (especially post-injury) could be considered by some as slightly worse, but what wrestler didn't drop off from his peak hayday? How can you come with a straight face and tell me that he is somehow below Stone Cold (who barely had ANY 5/5 matches) or the Rock (much much shorter and less accomplished career)?

Every great match between 1997 and 2000 that this faggot had was because he either was riding the coattails of more popular colleagues (Shawn, Chyna), was carried by better wrestlers (Foley, Benoit, Jericho) or had immaculate chemistry with (Rock).
Hunter is good, but he's not great. The fact he's also the supreme backstage political cockroach by first riding Shawn's coattails and then marry Stephanie.

He was on their level and better at some stuff than them. He was a much better heel than them, he could actually make storylines feel intense instead of just spamming catchphrases. Every single program he had with all 4 of them was dimes, especially with Stone Cold and Foley, his feud vs the Rock was also a massive draw. Compare Angle vs Austin during the invasion to HHH vs Stone Cold that felt like a blood feud. This is not a knock on any of those 4, but HHH wasn't below them in his output

I don't even hate Paul like I did during the reign of terror and after. If anything, I respect that he is The Game, because he played the game, and he won the game. He wanted to be Vince, and now he is, and he's learning that heavy lies the crown of the king carnie. But he was never the guy. He was never even the 2nd guy. He was always at least behind Austin, Rock and Foley in popularity, no matter how he was booked. He's always been kind of a dimeless shitter with a good physique. He wrestles better than Lex Luger and Kevin Nash, is about the nicest thing I could say about his wrestling ability.
