WWE's obviously doing it on purpose this time around but AEW has done it too in the past.

These two companies are in a promotional war. Running shows against each other is just part of the playbook.

For me it's AEW fans who talk endlessly about how competition is important in wrestling, and then get angry when WWE does things to compete.

Sometimes in fast food you'll see something like Wendy's running a promotion directly in response to a promotion that Burger King is running at the same time. Imaging seething on twitter about it.

In this case specifically it's because he's going to All Out and he won't be able to do a live react stream for the WWE show, which is his bread and butter.

sometimes when they have 2 fast food restaurant promotions going on at the same time they have a meltdown because they don't know which one to eat at. they end up getting both because they are also fat.

It did exactly what they wanted it to. People were talking about WWE that weekend instead of letting AEW have it. Also, there's probably some WWE fans who would've checked out All In, but since WWE was giving them so much to watch that weekend, they didn't feel like spending $50 to watch the AEW show too.

WWE is literally the biggest wrestling company. They do not need to get in the way of all other smaller promos. AEW should have its on time slots that WWE doesnt interfere or step on them. WWE can go and fuck off to ANYTIME besides when companies that dont have billions of dollars are on

Speaking for myself, I had thought about checking out All In since it's their biggest show of the year. But I had NXT, SNME, and Evolution all that weekend, and since those are the shows that I actively follow and enjoy watching weekly, that's the stuff I was going to watch, and I didn't feel like squeezing in another insanely long wrestling show. Especially for $50 when I got the three other shows with a subscription.

And Goldberg's retirement was fine. But the biggest moment of the weekend was the amazing main event with Rhea and Iyo, and Naomi's cash-in.

Yeah I do. I watch some New Japan even though it's hard to get into because I know anybody good will end up in AEW, which I don't regularly watch. I watch the big Noah shows, the big Marigold shows, I love what I see from Stardom but I wish there was more English support. And of course I've been watching TNA regularly since they started crossing over with NXT.

I don't like the weekly AEW shows but everyone says the PPVs are good. Doubt I'd get $50 worth of enjoyment from them though.

The saddest fact is that AEW fans think AEW is actually competition for WWE.

This has happened for years. JCP ran Clash of the Champions opposite Wrestlemania. The NWA ran the Bunkhouse Stampede on PPV the same night WWF aired the first Royal Rumble on the USA Network. WWF ran Survivor Series against Starrcade on Thanksgiving night.

Eat shit trannys.
