Yup. Shit's been a mess since the spring. There are no coherent stories going on with any sort of depth right now barring Edge and Christian. Which even that's gotten a bit sloppy in terms of the creative because once again someone's ego (Christian) got in the way and dictated things. It's always going to be this way until Tony grows a pair. People only do it because they know they can get away with it

Hurt Syndicate started to get over so the EVPs and Tony's friends wanted to get wins over them to siphon their overness for themselves.
MVP told them to fuck off and let the actual stars win and be dominant.
So now the entire locker room is angry they can't get over and the people that are over won't give them wins, forcing Tony to kill everything in a panic to prevent another locker room incident publicly embarrassing the company.

I personally think Hurt Syndicate needs to hold the titles longer.
There's not a single good believable over tag team in AEW right now that's actually a tag and not thrown randomly together like SpeedJeet.
If anyone, it should've been Outrunners going over FTR and then Hurt Syndicate. Strike the iron while it's hot. But they obviously didn't and now Outrunners aren't as over as they once were.

I don't understand why a bunch of 50 year old guys think they can just waltz into the company and bury everyone. They're a good act and should get pushed but it absolutely should not be at the expense of guys like Hangman, Swerve, Ospreay, MJF, etc.

mjf out of hurt syndicate is a swerve so hangman thinks mjf has no allies and lets down his guard. hs will intervene in the title match helping mjf win.
