I don't think Tony could do that anymore if he even wanted to. Every time WWE enters into a "working agreement" with any promotion, one of the terms of the deal is they have 1st option of purchase/right of refusal. Meaning anybody else is locked out from trying to purchase. They have their claws deep into TNA at this point.
