At this point NJPW is like the wrestlers who take Tony's money. It seems to make sense in the moment because he's offering you lots of money and he's an obvious mark. So you think you're fleecing him and you'll move afterward. But you end up kwabing yourself because then you're stuck as Tony's toy for however long you are taking the money. Your name, image, aura, lineage everything either gets frozen or gets tarnished, usually both. The worst thing about him at least you could argue WWE was cherry picking top talent and then trying to push them. Look at Gunther (don't look at Pete Dunne). But Tony just signs every fucking person whether they are elite (irony) or not. He just guts whole promotions of all their talent, young and old. They're left a husk. He did it to MLW, TNA, NJPW.
