E gods we're getting Jericho back!

The only way Jericho leaves AEW at this point is if he knows he's finally retiring. He wants one last run in WWE, one last WrestleMania match, and a headliner spot in the Hall of Fame. If he retires in AEW, he obviously won't get that last WrestleMania match, but he'll obviously still get into the HoF at some point, it will just be punted way down the road and won't be a headliner spot, like what happened with Scott Steiner. He'll get the midcarder treatment.

Good

Exactly why I see him going for one last run in the fed when his contracts up. Also after that he'd make a great manager to have if he'd be down for that.

He'd get one last Mania match and then probably slide into commentary on Raw since it seems that McAfee is gone for good.

I think WWE will probably pay him more than AEW because TKO is in full "squeeze WWE and their legends for as much as we can" mode and having Jericho return would exactly feed into their plan

STAY AWAY FAGGOT
Anonymous No.18578021
AEW fans are getting tired of Jericho no matter what he does and it wouldn't surprise me if Jericho doesn't have the same pull with Tony he used to have with so many other people surrounding Tony now. Plus he knows ending his career in WWE would be a bigger high mark for him than ending it in AEW.

Why not? All their legends from his era are dead or dying from heart issues

Jericho isn’t going anywhere where Haitch has power.
I also doubt he cares too much about a WWE retirement run after watching Angle’s and Cena’s

>jericho comes back to wwe with a stipulation being his final match is the main event of night 2 of wrestlemania
And like >>18578006 said they will GLADLY sign that offer just to fuck over AEW. Upper management will reason it as "just one year" and "you have night 1!" for any dissenters and just get them to roll over. Screenshot this right now and you'll see.

In 2022, He had a pulmonary embolism.
Anonymous No.18580697
If he wants to come back for a single year, put over some shitter like Melikey Blacks in a feud at Mania and then retire/go into the HoF/go to commentary, then fine. But fuck off if he wants to come back and be his dogshit self for 2-4 more years
Anonymous No.18580702 >>18580728 >>18581203
This can't be true. We NEED him. I couldn't possibly imagine watching Dynamite without seeing Chris Jericho on each and every week.
Anonymous No.18580708
>>18580678
I hope he does go back because WWE is pushing talent that's 45+ and older because everyone else can't crack the 6 foot tall mark.
Anonymous No.18580714
I'd only like him at the rumble to hear his theme again, give him a 1 month break and let him have a short feud for mania
His return shouldn't have the gay numbers playing on the screen, just start with "Break the walls down" out of nowhere for the pop with most potential
Anonymous No.18580719
>>18580686
Doesn't matter, inside buzz is WWE doesn't want to let Fozzy perform and Jericho won't sign a contract without them.

Yeah he’s applying pressure by hinting at a WWE return, which he knows is the only button he can push to get a new contract since his programs suck and he doesn’t draw shit.
