MLW is the only modern wrestling I watch.
New Japan is so boring, and I haven't bothered yet to recheck on my former favs, NOAH, BJPW, Dragon Gate etc.
Never been a regular WWE viewer, I'll catch a PLE on occasion with the boys, but at best they're inoffensive. GCW does too many multi people and intergender matches, I really tried, but its not for me. AEW is just bad, as mentioned before, I've watched dragon gate, I've seen all the cool moves, I don't need to see them done worse, they can't even do basic stuff like a distracted referee spot without making it look like shit.
MLW, while rarely great, looks like guys are trying to win matches, and not just pop the crowd. They do overuse older talent, one show they Kojima vs Ultimo Guerrero and they said they had a combined 80 years experience or something like that, and while it was better than anything Kenny Omega or the young bucks ever have or will do it was still two very old men with bad knees doing some of the worst work of their career. You probably can't find enough young wrestlers anymore trying to take their match seriously, so you have to rely on guys like Paul London, or guys who everyone would have figured in as WWE only like Bishop Dyer.
