If you want a non-schizo reason is because, even if they have nefarious purposes, WWE has actually tried to do stuff for AAA and TNA, like promoting their events and seemingly getting new TV deal.
So far, in all the years there has been a partnership between AEW and NJPW the only thing I've seen AEW do for NJPW is helping them do more US shows, which are really only viewed by the same 4 people who go to Dynallision tapings.
