NXT doesn't have to be a "massive success". It's WWE's 3rd brand out 4 or 5 now. It's a dev show that they just want people to get work in so they don't just put green indie shitters on the main roster like some other places do. If they hit on a couple of main roster acts as they have been doing then the show serves its purpose. All that and they have rake in money and ratings. If that isn't a success I'd feel bad for a company that pays more wages, gets less ratings, doesn't produce acts or give experience to talent, with a higher overall cost. Not sure what you would call that situation.
