He would be consistent upper midcard like Gunther, and occasionally he would get a main event run. Yes it is insane how much he threw away for absolutely nothing. He's a shoot tall guy with a good physique, he's a shoot fighter, he was liked by both Vince and HHH despite his weed problems, he was a natural in the ring, he was over with the crowd, he was already getting main event shots against Roman Reigns etc.

he would have been better than that. they actually put him in a pay-per-view main event. the one where he went over seth in the cage. i think it was extreme rules where bray wyatt returned after they rehired him.
they also used a roman reigns match on him. he was super over and had a unique vibe and gimmick from anyone else. all he had to do was wear more normal trunks and not be a faggot and keep the drug use in check.
