Unfortunately, unless an HBO employee decides to leak the numbers, or there's some kind of data breach, those numbers will never see the light of day. Maybe if there was some kind of law passed that required streaming services to accurately report their numbers the way TV Networks do, but I don't see that happening.

Most of the reason for media migration to streaming platforms is because their parent companies can launder money under more opaque circumstances. I'd be shocked if half of their reported subscriber accounts belonged to real people.

WBD has been trying to sell itself for pennies on the dollar for years to Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Apple, etc. Those are basically the only companies that could afford them. WBD somehow failed at that. The stock is actually up slightly year to date, which is why they're trying to split up the company into smaller parts to make buyouts more feasible.
