Dave has a journalism degree from San Jose State and was called the most accomplished sports journalist by Frank Deford who hired him to write for The National. Dave is wrong about ESPN though, as the biased WWF magazines are a form of journalism, as are communist newsletters, tabloids, TMZ and whatever else. There's all kinds journalists just like there's all kinds of musicians. Dave would have learned about "yellow journalism" in his classes, for one example.
