Yeah I like watching her wrestle. But being draped in all these dimeless belts brings down the ones that actually matter. I even hate when I'm watching New Japan and one of their wrestlers is carrying around an indy belt. I think companies need to establish in their minds which companies matter, and which ones don't. NJPW and CMLL are major promotions and I think they should treat titles from those companies like they matter. Indy companies should not be treated like they're on the same level.

Yeah exactly. Like, I remembered Ospreay sorta did this gimmick too in New Japan, and being charitable as I can, I think the most "legit" belt he had was the Rev Pro belt (if he didn't have the IWGP I can't remember). But he was also carrying around and displaying the Warrior Wrestling belt. And I know what that company that is because I live where they run shows but c'mon even most hardcore wrestling fans aren't gonna recognize it. It just looks bush league and makes actual legitimate belts look worse. Especially since they usually look better.

The J-Crown was dodgey with a number of defunct titles but at least they were the top CW belts at the time, and Ultimo winning the WCW championship legitimized the whole affair.

But nobody bought the story so Tony changed the finish. Because Tony has to let everyone know that he's in charge. In the end, Sasha screwed Sasha by bragging about having creative control, which gave birth to the Sasha Hogan talk. Her gimmick didn't change after the loss because the finish was changed and Tony doesn't know how to pivot

I agree. I don't get it and it's a waste of time. Sure, they put the titles on her but even if they show up on AEW, I wouldn't go "Oh, what's that weird title? I should go and check where the fuck it belongs to alongside the other 6 I'll never see again when she eventually has to lose them". No one would become a fan of the promotion just because she holds a title there. Maybe they call it "exposure" but actually no one gives a fuck about those. Half are hanging from her during her entrance and you wouldn't be able to make them out where they even belong to if you tried. They don't even announce any of them which doesn't help the indie promotions either. It's the Temu version of the belt collector gimmick with actual Temu looking belts she collects for the most part, there's legit nothing to brag about even when you win 60 rinky-dink titles of promotions that at best get 20 people in the door.
