My favorite wrestler of all time is probably Jumbo Tsuruta.
The pinnacle of his era, and the foundation from which the Four Pillars of Heaven were built upon. Trained by Terry and Dory Funk in Amarillo, TX and mentored by the legendary Giant Baba. Power and technique combined with determination but his greatest attribute was his selfless nature. He's mostly know for his late career work with Misawa and Co. in the 90's or his brutal war with Tenryu in the 80's, so I'll post part of an early rivalry that helped to build the plucky young wrestler into the Ace of All Japan.
