He has no aura. Otis is a fat guy with character. JC Mateo looks like an Otis who's angry and is a generic muscle of the group with no personality. There needs to be a term for guys like Cobb, Rhyno, Apollo Crews, Paul Burchill, who all looked like absolute dimes machines pre-WWE and then they get to the Land of the Giants and look like shit. It's not just a midget thing, it's a "they had two inches on guys in the indies that vanishes in the Fed".

What is there to like? What is there to even care about?
I liked the Matanza run, but as a viewer I don't see the point of putting this bowling ball of man with the mobility of fat toddler straight into a upper midcard faction, over people "in house" or from PC. Ok that's a bit unfair, but he does look like a toddler walking around with his wide stance, he can move better than one still.

And I know he's from some other island nation but god damn it is putting all the coconuts in one basket dimeless after 4 years of Roman. Solo is doing great by himself but Tonga Loa needs to be shipped to fucking Samoa and Jeff can go collect beans in a field if he gets outshined by Tala two weeks in. It is just not a good composition for the group and two them seem like dead weight, dead end careers.

Rhyno doesn't belong with these shitters. His WWE run was underwhelming but he constantly got pops and a bunch of memorable moments due to his Gore and dimes theme. Even in his 2016 run he and Slater managed to make the crowd pop when they won the tag titles.
