TKO and HHH didn't necessarily destroy your interest.
It's that by getting rid of Vince, they expose the fact that it wasn't Vince who ruined wrestling.
The entire company ruined it. Everyone with a 25+ year tenure was there for the switch from private promotion to publicly traded corporation.
The much hated creative team is a system put in place 21-23 years ago, and Stephanie was in charge of it all that time.
She and eventually HHH as well would sit with Vince in creative meetings to feed him the writing and he'd approve it and change his mind.
The only difference between then and now, is that there are now supposed to be no last minute changes, even though they occasionally happen thanks to the second creative team interfering with operations.
Long form short, the storytelling that's supposed to make wrestling a fun TV show you wanna see every week has been shit for 23 years for the same reason it always was.
Sequential TV writing performed by actors, and pro wrestling, are two incompatible worlds.
