While speaking during the post AEW Forbidden Door media scrum, Tony Khan was asked if AEW is hitting the million mark between cable and Max with live and same-day viewers. Khan admitted he wasn’t sure, saying that while a report suggested they might be, he didn’t have the exact numbers.

The streaming numbers are only known to the high level company executives. If Bethel properly reported the story, it would have meant that he sourced it independently with multiple people. Meaning he would have had multiple sources high up in WBD who were willing to share numbers with him that they wouldn’t even share with Tony.
