Meltzer, say whatever you want about the last 25 years, worked incredibly hard when it wasn't easy to be a "wrestling journalist." So I wouldn't call that luck so much as banging your head against a wall and occasionally passing out, but he made some money.

I nominate Tony Khan. I don't despise him like most of this board but he's a money mark who had daddy give him enough money at just the right time to take a notable number 2 spot in wrestling. He's not a good business man, booker, or promoter. But he's likely got a lock in his spot unless something catastrophic happens or another money mark with a clue gets into the business.
