The outrage over the new WWE/ESPN deal reminds me of the outrage over the Nintendo Switch 2, and all these jaded Nintendo fans were talking about how the console was going to be a complete disaster, and we're going to boycott it and teach Nintendo a lesson, and then the console launches and it's the fastest selling console in history, and all the outrage merchants realize that normal people aren't bothered.

I'm sure that will happen soon. They just don't have those new deals in place yet. For me, I'm just switching from YouTubeTV to DirecTV Stream. Their lowest package is about the same price, includes CW and USA, and it does give access to ESPN Unlimited.

They probably launched it early so they can put pressure on those cable companies to make a deal faster but I’m afraid it will still take months or years for them to happen if they happen at all.
