I don't have any experience with children, so it's a very foreign concept. It's a huge, irrevocable commitment that has tons of potential to go wrong, but doesn't yield direct benefits. This anon

You used to be able to have kids and things could largely be trusted to go right as long as they went to school and didn't do drugs. If it weren't so difficult and actively discouraged, I'd be willing to have kids.
People don't seem interested in addressing these problems. Even the people who acknowledge that we need to increase birthrates typically just want to bribe women with even more welfare in the hopes it will convince them to have kids. There's no concern for me in the equation. Actually, when I talk about not wanting kids, I just get shamed and called a manchild, good goy, etc. If the only response to what I'm saying it shaming, it probably means I'm right.
