Zero personality or gimmick of her own and only piggybacks off of Julia. She's a derivative of a derivative. She was showing some promise for a while or at least it seemed like her heart was in it with all of the indie bookings she was taking. Then she got hurt and it seems her passion went into about 50 different directions all of which had to do with anything but wrestling. She's regressed a ton in the ring and at no point was able to cut even a mildly passable promo

Eye candy has been the main thing for both and the WWE and AEW outfits make it clear that is a large part of the marketing, but nobody suppose to state the obvious. Tony knows what he is doing by allowing Skye to have her butt hang out, he's not trying to have her be the next Jumbo Tsurutu.

You're entirely right about this. She was the pin eater of her unit, Donna Del Mondo, in Stardom. She existed in Giulia's shadow and no one ever really gave all too much of a shit about her while she was there. If anything there's a lot of Stardom fans who were happy she was going elsewhere. I agree in how much of the hype around both her and Alex Windsor feels entirely forced. As if AEW fans feel like they HAVE to like these two no matter what. Neither of them have done fuck all yet and are being made out to be as if they've transformed the division

They don't have to be top level workers or anything though. New to AEW Skye with little experience consistently had quarter hour ratings increases and "not over" girls still end up with onlyfans simp armies. Eva Marie only had a small amount of two minute long singles matches on national TV. Nothing was really done to establish her to the main audience as someone that could get a win or try hard while bouncing around. In the old days they would have just made her a valet and that would have helped with ratings and selling calendars.
