KO is right. Cardona absolutely does not like being on the indies right now and would rather be in WWE or AEW. Although I'm unsure why he's not in either to begin with. AEW he'd be making a shitload of money but not be booked. WWE he'd have less money and terrible booking. But it's better than being on the indies... I guess.

If there is one thing I'll give Cody supreme credit for, he used his time on the indies, ROH, and NJPW to build up his stock. Reinvent himself till he finally found the "persona" that works for him, and it landed him that AEW deal on, which snowballed into being WWE Champion years later.

Matt hasn't done shit. The only slight mashup he does is maybe a occasional hardcore match. Still looks the same, does the same stuff. If you sign him he'd just be a novelty act, which there are people who do his thing but better in both companies.

That said I'm shocked he isn't a massive regular on TNA.
