Some of the bigger draws are even telling management up front they will not perform there, and apparently it's legit, and they're scrambling around a little to try to book the event far, FAR in advance to have some stars to prop up.

There's been a lot of murmuring on what they should do and if a majority of the card will just be men just so the women don't have to go out there. Some are willing to bite the bullet, like the ones you saw at the conference, but they're definitely not happy about it.
And no, I have no idea on Punk's reaction, but there's definitely been a lot of talk on how the hell this will look on his career if he actually performs there. If you ask me, he better pray he gets that main event next year, because if he gets it at Saudi, others will NEVER let him live it down.
