I have a bad habit of never abandoning a book once I start, I picked up this fucking novel based only on the cover thinking it’d be a gritty wrestling story. Instead, it’s a slog about three generations of gay wrestlers, written by an author who doesn’t even understand basic lucha libre terminology. I’m about 60% through and every page feels like a chore. It’s not clicking but my OCD won’t let me drop it.
Has anyone ever read a fiction wrestling novel that was good?
