Not only that but she pretty much buried Jacy and Fallon during that spot too. Vaq and Rhea had them set up ready to do it but then Lyra had to run in pause it all just to set up her own spot and do a dive leaving Jacy and the Fallon sitting there like retards not even trying to escape or defend themselves for way too long
>With a handful of matches now under her belt, Blake Monroe is getting settled into her new role as a WWE star after joining the promotion earlier this year. One person the former Mariah May has already won over is "WWE NXT" commentator Booker T. Speaking on "The Hall of Fame," Booker said he is now a fan of Monroe, and he believes Monroe's recent matches against Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace have elevated her.
>"She went out and really showed she's a performer," Booker said. "She's a real worker. She's not just somebody [with] a pretty face or anything like that. She can really go out and perform in the ring at a very high level."
>When Monroe joined WWE in June, she was coming off a highly-touted run in AEW, where she took part in a long-running storyline with "Timeless" Toni Storm. As May, she eventually captured the AEW Women's World Championship from Storm before dropping it back to her at AEW Revolution this past March. She then made the decision to sign with WWE, but that wasn't going to be enough to automatically win Booker over.
>"I wasn't just gonna be one of those guys who say, 'Ah, I like her just because she's here and I've heard a lot about her,'" Booker stated. "No, you gots to show me something. And Blake Monroe definitely – I think she has the goods. She really does."
>Monroe solidified herself as a heel earlier this summer after turning on Grace and then defeating her in a match at WWE NXT Heatwave last month. However, Grace put a stop to some of Monroe's momentum by getting involved in her match against Jordan days later, forcing Monroe to suffer her first pinfall loss in the company.

I just realized a day later I posted this in the NXT general instead of the AEW general. this is what happens when you're posting while horny and tired
>>18837322
I still don't buy her as a big enough threat to Fatal Influence and all of her MMA stuff looks like shit but she probably will. They need a face to take it off Jacy at some point. Not really sure who else who hasn't already challenged her it would be. I'd guess it'd go Jacy to Lola to Blake. The latter two could be a fun feud as well
Tatum is DIMES and was working her ass off to make Bliss look good in that match. She has the ability to get the people they throw her in a team with over by association. Main roster in 2026
>>18843317
She should’ve been on the main roster earlier. >mfw everyone was begging for Tatum to be part of the team during that horrible PFC feud but it turned out to be Natalya and no one cared.
>>18843414 >her progress is slower than it should be
Maybe that's the reason then? Instead of it being some conspiracy. She's just progressing slower than the others because she is
>>18843833
While I don't believe it's a conspiracy either, she is better in ring and has a more marketable gimmick than a lot of main roster talent. >maxxine >mia yim >alba fyre >raquel rodriguez
>>18844918
It's funny because I often forget she's even champion. Jordynne and Blake have been the big story carrying the division since Jacy won the belt. They may as well get the title involved in that soon if No Mercy isn't the end of it. Maybe Lola beats Jacy and Monroe takes it from her
>>18845031
this seems to be the play, but idk how they will get there because jordynne is gonna win the feud. it probably will be jacy retaining and then jordynne taking the title from her which is the most dimeless outcome
>>18845060
Like it or not it's still carrying the women's division at the moment over Jacy's 'no one thinks I'm a credible champion and I'll prove them right' title reign. The endless non-tension between the rest of Fatal Influence is starting to make Fallon and Nyx look like doormats too. Jacy yells at them every week and blames them for everything and they just stay around and take it
>>18845036 >because jordynne is gonna win the feud
I don't know if she will though. I assume the end of her story with Blake is going to be where she leaves NXT and goes to the main roster. Either she wins the feud and uses that to catapult out of NXT or she loses the feud and sort of gets written off until she pops up in the Rumble or something. I'm not sure she ends up winning the title regardless. As for Monroe even if she does lose the feud all you'd need to do is have her win a few random matches to become number one contender afterwards if Jordynne isn't around
Or they do go with what you're saying which would be grim considering the options
>>18845754 >The blowoff has to be Jazmyn and Fallon finally telling Jacy to fuck off
I would hope as much. This has been going on since at least before GAB. The only problem with that is Fallon and Jazmyn together alone feels like a really weak pairing. They'd just need to fully split
>>18844190
I think they just changed their minds. There was multiple bits where Izzi was clearly using her or mad that Tatum was successful. Could be pushing Izzi out.
>>18849726
I really don’t think they’ll do another betrayal arc for either of them considering Tatum will get betrayed in nxt and Lyra already got betrayed by Tatum AND Becky and maybe Bayley. They’ll probably do a cordial separation. I think a tag team recently in nxt did something like that.
the tyra tag was the only time lyra ever displayed any personality whatsoever so i wouldn't mind it coming back if it gets tatum a promotion. i actually think both of them are better suited to being tag team wrestlers anyway and that division needs solid acts, it should not be a revolving door of just main eventers and jobbers. what happens after the inevitable breakup is the question. tatum has a higher ceiling but reaching it depends on if HHH hates her like HBK does.
>>18849987
Izzi is fine. I’m worried about her after the Tatum feud.
I have no idea why Karmen is stuck in the lower leagues.
If anything I think Kelani should do some TNA stuff since she’s got 0 personality. Maybe wren too because she’s screwed so maybe she can do funny Arianna stuff.
>>18850008
Since you seem like the only level headed person in these women's wrestling threads, I have a questionto ask. Have you seen Marigold, and do you think anyone wrestling for them would have a shot at getting over with the NXT crowd? I've been beating the drum for Kouki even though she is green, but I can also see Hummingbird getting over with Orlando because of the gimmick.
>>18850040
I’m gonna be honest I don’t know any non wwe joshi stuff besides that one cool gothy looking chick and mina. >kouki
She looks ok but I’m worried they’ll do what they did with that schoolgirl lady. >hummingbird
Looks kino but i have no idea what hbk will deal with her.
>>18850064 >Sol should be in the main event
Definitely. I feel like Zaria is an albatross around her neck, but they'll probably use Sol beating Z as a credibility springboard to the main event
>>18850040
NTA but Kouki would stand out as an above average sized joshi and her all big boot based offense is fun, she's easy on the eyes too which is probably why there's so much chatter about her to WWE online
The Orlando crowd would definitely give her a fair shake. Hummingbird might be harder to get over but they've never really tried a masked woman in WWE either so who knows
>>18850108
jordynne is a better worker than zaria at least and had some hype around her from being the face of the knockouts for a while. i get why they'd go for jordynne.
zaria was a total nothing pickup and should have never left australia. her biggest contribution to NXT has been holding sol back from moving up the card.
>>18850121
Seri Yamaoka once she’s got a few years under her belt. Good looking with great athleticism and is rapidly improving in the ring. Isn’t tiny either. Stupid young and would probably be able to learn good English.
>>18852551
she sucks. how are you gonna give karmen screentime over lola/jaida/lash/kelani/sol/fallon/tatum... when she can't do anything good other than look cunty
>>18853137
As great as they were Stephanie and Giulia showing up back to back really boned a lot of the homegrown girls and now of course we have Jordynne and Blake.
>>18853311
i personally think the giulia/steph era was the most boring period of nxt. i loved gooning to stephs fat ass and watching her matches but everything was so boring bros
>>18852774
Wrestlers this skinny, like her and Maxxine for example, just feels so not smart and unsafe to me. Your body is your means of making a living. Bump cards are very much real. Why would you not want to give yourself at least some sort of natural padding to help protect your bones and shit when you're getting slammed around and hitting the mat
>>18853606
Harley is one of Blake's best friends so if there's any interest from WWE I could see that helping that bridge be jumped
On the other hand she's like 40. Or at least she's very secretive about her age and it probably isn't without reason
