Cornette is right that Russo is a retard that ruined wrestling and was worse to the safety of the talent than Cornette's abusive ass ever was.
Russo is right in that what he ruined in wrestling nobody has asked to be returned and for a while it was some of the most watched slop in TV that Cornette could never draw as hot.

Smokey Mountain was dated even in the 90s. Cornette was terrible as ROH booker and terrible as a TNA consultant. Honestly, Russo tv booking was at least interesting sometimes, everyone on the card had something. It's just that it bleed into the ppvs and blow offs meant nothing. So at least the tv could be fun sometimes. Cornette's ideal product is just straight up boring.
