The tweet implies this is a birthday gift to Miu, for some reason. Maybe she really wanted to face Mifu?

The match will definitely be good because Miu is in it, but I'd like Mifu to be able to show more of what we've seen from her in the trios and tag matches she's been in/other multimans

She's gonna look great taking the Giant Swing.

Forged a Sturdy Lower Body from Niigata's Heavy Snow: 147cm Frame Γ— Superhuman Physical Ability – The Origin of a Cute Yet Powerful Female Wrestler
https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/f2065e2950d7456a7ccb7deacc2ebccacaefe415

>"The Giant Monster Measuring 1.47m in Total Length." The nickname of Shoko Nakajima, a founding member of Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling, couldn't describe her more perfectly. Despite her petite stature, her muscular strength and athletic prowess leave others in the dust. How did Nakajima acquire this enviable physical ability that even fellow wrestlers covet? In this three-part interview series delving into the secrets of Nakajima's body-building, the first installment covers her experiences with sports during her student days.

Loved Tokusatsu and Reading, Yet Joined the Track and Field Club... Felt Out of Place in Club Activities
>Shoko Nakajima is from Niigata Prefecture, and she grew up in a heavy snowfall area even within Niigata. As a result, she participated in cross-country skiing as part of school lessons starting from elementary school.

>"Cross-country was incorporated into physical education classes, and from the time I was in first grade... it felt like as soon as I became aware of things, I had to do cross-country. The courses were set up on the school grounds or on public roads around the school. In middle school, there weren't many students, so the only club activities open to girls were track and field or table tennis. So in the summer, I did long-distance running, and in the winter, cross-country. That went on for nine years until I entered high school. For long-distance, the club's policy was 'Let's aim for ekiden relays!' so it was 3km to 5km runs."
Anonymous No.19047251 >>19047254
>>19047245
>Looking at Nakajima's current fighting style, it seems like the cardiovascular endurance built up at this point must have been helpful...

>"Now that I think about it, yes, but actually, I was the type who wasn't good at sports in the club... Among the boys competing in the same events, there were even ones who went to the Olympics (laughs). Plus, I loved tokusatsu and was always reading books, so I felt a bit out of place in the club. All the kids who weren't the athletic type went to table tennis, but I had this feeling of wanting to challenge myself to something stricter, like a chuunibyou phase. So even my elementary school homeroom teacher was surprised when I became a pro wrestler. But that teacher had told me to keep doing sports in middle school too. I wasn't good at sports, but they knew I was trying hard."

>Now that Nakajima is seen as a player who's basically a bundle of athletic nerves, it's hard to believe.

>"Absolutely not. Even now, there are tons of things I can't do. I always see players with much higher quality, so I constantly think I still need more practice to reach that level."

Grew Up in an Environment Where "Pro Wrestling = Something You Shouldn't Watch"
Upon entering high school, that very Nakajima became immersed in theater. And she ended up aiming to become a comedian.

>"I was in the theater club in high school, but I continued running for all three years. I joined a theater club that really emphasized physical fitness, so it was the kind where we'd run before club activities started. On top of that, I'd casually join the track team's morning practices before classes and run (laughs). I'd take the first train to school, get looks like 'What club is that guy in?' while running, and then sleep through first period (laughs). I kept up the running until exam season hit, but I slacked off on the exams midway and aimed for being a comedian instead. Actually, I entered the preliminaries for an M-1 aimed at high schoolers. There was a 'student comedian' category, and I competed in a tournament where kids like that gathered. During summer break of my third year, I passed the prelims and went to Tokyo twice, ended up focusing on comedy and slacking on exams. I had signed up for summer cram school but didn't go at all... My parents were super worried. But I was only thinking about entering a training school, so I quit exams and said I'd work part-time to save money. Back then, my material was about the culture shock I felt coming from Niigata to Tokyo. Like, things were this way in Niigata, but common sense is different in Tokyoβ€”stuff like that, though I don't remember the details at all (laughs)."

>Even so, Nakajima had known the four letters "puroresu" (pro wrestling) since childhood. Her father would read specialty magazines in the bathroom.
Anonymous No.19047259
>>19047254
>"My dad was super into pro wrestling; he even had a framed autograph from when Shinya Hashimoto came to a pachinko event at his family's home. But in our house, we were bad with blood or fighting sports in general, so Dad probably read the specialty magazines in the bath, leaving them in the changing room. In that environment, 'pro wrestling = something you shouldn't watch'... It felt the same as a slightly naughty magazine (laughs)."

>What changed Nakajima's fate was an encounter shortly after she started activities as a comedian.

>"At the time, there was a restaurant where struggling comedians would work part-time, and a guy named Yossha Hiruma was in charge as the manager, and he took me to pro wrestling. He sat next to me and explained everything, like info on the wrestlers. Pro wrestling itself had such strong characters and felt really fun. I started thinking I'd like to try it myself, but becoming a pro wrestler right away seemed absolutely impossible."

Passionate Tigers Fan Beauty Wrestler, Aino Yuki: "I'll Wrap the Treasured Belt Along with Hanshin's CS Breakthrough! I'll Cheer for the Japan Series as Champion"
https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/29a8cbf3a9c41cdb7b0375306fe9c45d95bff96a

>Running parallel to her beloved Hanshin Tigers in the biggest match of her wrestling career. Aino Yuki (30) will challenge Princess of Princess champion Miu Watanabe at the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Korakuen Hall event on the 18th.

>The day she aims for the organization's treasured belt, Hanshin is scheduled to face DeNA in Game 4 of the Central League CS Finals. Aino said excitedly, "I want Hanshin to win with 4 wins and 1 loss (with the 1-win advantage for the championship team). I'll win too! I want to make it a wonderful day together."

>On September 7, when Hanshin clinched the league championship, Aino competed at the Kitazawa Town Hall event. During the post-match autograph session, fans reported the game progress to her, and she held back her pounding heart. "As soon as it ended, I hurried home and watched the ninth inning at home. I had tickets for the next game (September 9 vs. DeNA), and I might have seen the championship at Koshien, but it was good that they set the earliest championship record," she said excitedly. However, for the September 9 game, "I went, but it was a shutout loss," she recalled with a slightly complicated expression.

>Two years ago, under manager Akinobu Okada, Hanshin became Japan champions. During the Japan Series against Orix, while cheering at an idol's live she supports, she was so concerned about the game that she left the venue multiple times to check on her smartphone. "I'm a bit weird, aren't I?" she laughed bitterly as a die-hard Tigers fan.
Aino is from Okayama. Her grandfather was a Tigers fan, and with relatives living near Koshien, she visited the stadium many times and became a Hanshin fan. "I liked wearing happi coats and cheering noisily in the outfield seats," she reminisced. In 2003, when she was in third grade, under manager Senichi Hoshino, they won the league. At school, she loved using an underlay featuring infielder Atsushi Fujimoto (current coach).

>About this year's earliest league championship: "The new manager, a former player from the active era... I'm happy. I thought they were strong, strong, but they dominated. I was worried when they lost consecutively in the interleague, but after that they kept winning, and I was moved by Ishii ( (Daichi)'s consecutive scoreless record achievement," she said.
Entering middle school, she distanced herself from pro baseball cheering. After graduating university, her eyes turned to manager Tomoaki Kanemoto, whom she knew from his playing days, and her love for Hanshin reignited. Since then, she continues fervent support, saying "I feel lonely when the season ends."

>She gave up watching the CS at the stadium because it overlaps with her big pro wrestling match. This is her third challenge for the treasured belt. For her first coronation: "I want to wrap the belt on the 18th and go cheer for the Japan Series as champion," she vowed. "Watanabe Miu is a monster. But I'll defeat the monster as a human, receiving hot cheers," full of fighting spirit. The new champion, receiving full support, intends to cheer with all her might for Hanshin's Japan championship.

Haru/Aino is the perfectly logical next step. Aino goes back to being a tag wrestler because she's not a solo star, AND she's the veteran of the tag team instead of the junior like she was with Nodoka and Aniki. And Haru gets some tag reps and a first title run.

So they won't do it.

Even worse was that he put these 23 class wrestlers in interesting tag teams that he never followed up on again. Mizuki tagged with Shino and literally said she thought Shino reminded her of a young Mizuki. Shino also tagged with Misao. Then she tags with Himawari in the max heart and they don't mention it for 8 months until now. Haru and Toga team? No, Toga now has Yuna.

Koda is obviously obsessed with the junior/senior style teams, it's why we have Ober Eats, it's why we had Daydream, etc. Miyu/Kaya seem to be that now, too.

It's part of why I'm sad Yuka got hurt right after Mizuki won the belt, because unless they were going to retire with the tag belts or Mizuki was dropping the POP beforehand, nobody in MagiRabi could lose.

Mizuki couldn't lose as champ, Yuka just didn't know how to job in TJPW, so it would have been fascinating to see how Koda handled a booking issue of his own creation.

Luckily Yuka's neck and American medicine saved him the trouble

The class of '23 did try tag with each other to go after the champs but they weren't strong enough. HIMAWARI/Wakana challenged Daisy Monkey and lost. HaruToga challenged after 121Milly and lost. As of giving them specific senior tag partners I guess it depends on timing. Though I think HimaShino will be fine as long as they stay a team while being not as strong.
