Holm exposed her for not being able to trade punches with a proper striker and Nunez passed her on the mat so it was over for her. No reason to stick around after that. After that run, she came back and people realized her promos were bad with off-timing, her matches weren't that great and the initial goodwill for her ran out since she wasn't a novelty anymore, so people got to know her more and realized she's basically a cunt.

I remember her crying about having to lose to Alexa because Alexa was very popular and selling a lot of merch. She had zero understanding of how the business worked. She got upset if the crowd booed her instead of using the heat. Total self mark who wanted to win every match and expected the fans to love her. There is no comparison. No male figure is more important to men's combat sports than Rousey was to women's, both shoot and worked. She showed women's combat could be both a serious event and a bankable business, which itself is also the main reason women's wrestling in WWE finally became a serious division. Before Ronda, you didn't see this anywhere outside Japan.

Granted, she certainly won't go down as the best ever because of how badly her career flamed out. But the importance of what she did still can't be denied.
