The Pois would have to crush the polar bear under their mass, however the first Pois to jump on him would get swiped at, eaten, and brutalized. But if the remaining Pois don't run away scared and continue rushing and crushing the polar bear, they could eventually win. Adult male polar bears weight approximately ~1,300 lbs, and Wikipedia bills Poi at 104 lbs. The mass of around 50 Pois at most (5,200 lbs), if they don't run scared, should be enough to crush and eventually suffocate a polar bear, though it wouldn't be without bloodshed.
