Agreed. Seems like Vampiro has been getting very active in JCW lately so I wonder how his run will turn out this year. I remember back in 2023, Violent J had a feud with Vampiro and his La Rebellion which led to the Samhain PPV. What a time.

oddly enough, last time i actually saw vampiro wrestle was in the NWA during his short run there. It was around the same time that the bros of funstruction and J were appearing on this show I think. He seemed like he could still go, he's a little slower than he used to be but still really good.

no idea, roku does make some questionable decisions at times, it's not the ideal network for sure but it's a lot better than what they had before. for a while, powerrr was basically locked to the CW app and even I stopped watching for awhile at that point.

I would put it down to the fact that Corgan was never a wrestling promoter before he bought the NWA. He was booking TNA for a little while but he's clearly learning as he goes. I won't deny there have definitely been some mistakes, I could name a few.

True on that to be honest. Corgan seriously needs someone with more experience if he wants the NWA to succeed. He's surrounded by plenty of them. EC3, Kenzie and Kylie Paige, Joe Cazana, Leland Race, Bryan Idol, etc.

I think he probably has been learning from them, things have been improving lately. The new territory system really has helped things because it basically functions as a solid developmental system while making a profit at the same time.

Honestly, I think this is going to be the plan for the territories. Essentially make them developmental promotions to the NWA like how OVW, FCW and Deep South were to WWE.

Absolutely, Billy seems to at least understand the important role of the territories in developing new talent. he's had a problem in the past with the big two hiring away his top people as soon as they get over, but with a good developmental system he can hopefully produce enough good people to absorb those losses. I mean, the women's division still hasn't really recovered from Kamille leaving because it was built around her.

agreed. Only problem I have seen is how the promotions do their shows. Sometimes they'll livestream them on YouTube or TitleMatch (in the case of Kross Fire) or have their own propreitary service (TSW) or even have a taped weekly show or a monthly taped show (DPCW, Joe Cazana Promotions, WLW, and DCCW) but there are some times where they don't have any shows that air anywhere at all (NWA Chicago). To be honest, one big thing that needs to be done is for all the territories to be airing their shows in one form or another.

As long as we're talking about mistakes, I will also say that Corgan needs to stop telegraphing his future booking plans so much. He makes things a little too obvious sometimes imo. Like when EC3 was world champion, it was made pretty clear that Latimer would get it next. Right now, they're signaling Thrillbilly to be the next top guy. None of those people are bad choices but he needs to learn how to surprise people a little more.

Agreed. Corgan just seems way too predictable at times and that's I think due to the NWA's taping schedule. They really should be building up to major shows and not taping them months in advance.
