Yeah that's pretty much exactly what I said. They didn't respect the traditional boundaries or the law, hence the "outlaw" part. And yes, the WWWF was the established NY territory but they left the territory system entirely and therefore became an outlaw mudshow by all traditional definitions. Lack of respect for the law was also there, because

WWE is a two-bit outlaw mudshow and Vince should have listened to his father and stayed with the NWA instead of being greedy and crooked.
