2021 as a whole was the most forgettable year of my life. Like wtf even happened?

It was a weird time. Wasn't even a bad Mania. The main event was based

>mfw I remember 90% of this show
shitposting with my friends on /asp/ must've got me back into wrestling more than I realised. I couldn't tell you anything about the Wrestlemanias from 2015 - 2019 or 2022 - 2025 but the covid era stands out like it's a ppv from my childhood

The only thing I remember is the giant skeleton. That was really badass probably the best part of the whole event.

I still bring up this match when Apollo's gimmick around that time gets mentioned cause I was disappointed by it.

Was this during Braun's CHAMPION OF THE RETARDED gimmick? Literally the only good feud he ever had.

Literally the only things I remember about this off the top of my head is that it rained, Mandy Rose slipped and fell during her entrance, and Hogan got booed by his own home city

Here's what I remember about each of these matches
>Bobby v Drew
Drew lost from a really dumb MVP distraction finish, where he literally just started yelling Drew's name.
>Sasha v Bianca
The hair whip, and Sasha's surprisingly genuine smile after losing, great match.
>Asuka vs Rhea
Nothing
>DB vs Roman vs Edge
Great match. I think Edge got a visual tap on Roman, while the ref was knocked out? I should rewatch.
>New Day vs AJ & Omos
Omos' in-ring debut, I think? It's a long build to AJ finally tagging Omos in, iirc.
>Cesaro vs Seth
I remember this being a decent match. Cesaro did a UFO, which was fun.
>Riddle vs Sheamus
Remember nothing from this match, but I think this is when Sheamus won the US title and started beating the shit out of cruiserweights every week.
>Big E vs Apollo Crews
Apollo won because "Commander Azeez" debuted and gave E the 'Nigerian Nail'. No-one explained what a Nigerian Drum Fight even is. Dogshit.
>Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs Miz and Morrison
This was the start of celebrity matches being shockingly good in WWE. Bad Bunny and Morrison pulling off a Canadian Destroyer at Wrestlemania popped me.
>Braun vs Shane
This feud was so stupid but fun. Based entirely around Shane calling Braun stupid, and Braun cutting promos about how he's been bullied his whole life. Ended with Shane nearly escaping, only for Braun to punch through the cage to bring him back in.
>Orton vs. Fiend
God, what a mess. So bizarre for WWE to spend hours and hours building Bray's return up, only for Randy to beat him in like 3 minutes due to an interference-RKO finish, with Bray being released soon after.
>KO vs Sami
Don't really remember anything about the match at all, but I remember Logan Paul's part feeling weird, because I think he still thought he might be a baby face.
>Women's tag stuff
Natty and Tamina were shockingly over, and probably should have beaten Nia & Shayna.

I have never seen a single wrestling image that contained so many things that I forgot/didn't even know happened
>Edge, Bryan and Reigns had a triple threat WM match for a top title
>the Nigerian drum fight match
>Morrison being around back then and reforming his tag team with Miz
>Riddle was US champ
>Orton and Bray having another Wrestlemania matches besides their House of Horrors match from years earlier
>Nia and Shayna not only being in a tag team but holding tag belts
>Kofi having blond dreads
>Cesaro was still in WWE around this time
wtf

The only 2 reasons i remember this mania is the Nigerian Drum match and that Bianca beating Sasha did absolutely nothing for her. It was so bad they had to have Bianca win the title at mania AGAIN the next year but treated it like this didn't happen last yea.

They won the Tag Team Turmoil first night, but then lost the title match against the champs on night two.
