Not arguing the merits of gun control here. The reason that the laws are there have nothing to do with the results of the laws.
The point is that any gun used in a show is going to be a prop and is understood to be such.

Again, not arguing for gun control in this thread. I'm the OP, I obviously don't have a problem with guns and think they can be pretty based. You could have gotten away with this stuff 70 years ago here in the US and we had guns everywhere. But what we didn't have was the frequent gun violence, and that needs to be curtailed. Not saying gun control is the way to do that, just pointing out that Japan isn't concerned because it doesn't have our problems.

The idea behind the White Belt and Red Belt was that either could be more prestigious than the other at a given time, with the White Belt champion more oriented towards storytelling and the red oriented more towards "best matches."
Bushiroad moved away from that and made the Red belt more prestigious, which is a shame because Iwata is definitely more Red Belt material but not necessarily "top figure in Stardom" material.
Oddly, Kamitani is really more of a traditional "White Belt" figure... would have been great if she replaced it with a Black Belt.
